Wristlet Mini Purse - Black Cork

Regular price $40.00

The wristlet mini purse is the perfect size for carrying cards, folded cash, or coins.  Use the detachable wrist strap to keep your hands free, or detach and use it as a keychain.  This wristlet features cork fabric in black, with sturdy interfacing to hold its shape and organic cotton lining printed with the original Silvania Fauna de la Costa print.  Gold-plated metal hardware.

Cork Fabric

Cork is a truly sustainable material because the cork oak tree is left standing in the process of harvesting the bark.  Cork bark is gently removed every decade or so without causing any damage to the cork tree.  The bark is then boiled in water to make it pliable and dyed or printed to add color.  Cork fabric is water-resistant, durable, and light-weight, making it a great alternative to leather.

Purse Lining

The lining fabric in this purse is made with organic pima cotton from Peru and printed with the original Silvania print "Fauna de la Costa".  Silvia, Silvania's founder, was inspired by ancient Peruvian depictions of shore birds, fish, and frogs when she created this print.
